Shoshone Falls

So my sister came to visit this month and on their way home stopped to see Shoshone Falls. It was sooo full of water! It started to make me think that we needed to head up that way to take a peek. On Saturday we did just that. We got to see the falls (and the Twin Falls too!) have a picnic at the park, and just play around together. The weather was gorgeous and being in the company of my family is always the BEST!!

A nice gentleman offered to take a pic of all of us. If only my kids weren't frowning. Oh well!!

The falls...

Bry's hair cracks me up in this pic. The girl will not keep her hair ties in!!!

A boy and his cave...

It's a good thing my kids have a dad to let them climb up all sorts of scary, steep hills :)

WHAT A FUN SATURDAY!!

Big Girl Bed!!

Brylee has graduated to her "big girl bed." She is such a tall thing that she was able to climb out - and it was just time to make the change. I will not lie - I bawled like a baby (the really ugly cry) when the crib left my home for the last time. I know I am done having babies but it just feels like such a final end to "baby days!!"

I did get some cute pics of her and she was super excited! She has been sleeping great in it. Now I just need to get her potty trained!! BUT....that is for another day entirely.

May I just say - isn't she ADORABLE?!?!

Happy Birthday Thane!!!

Wow - he is getting old! :) Ha ha. We celebrated Thane's b-day by hitting 5 Guys and Fries, eating delicious chocolate cake and seeing Thor!

Idaho Potato Half

I promised myself I would do 5 half marathons this summer - and Saturday I finished up my 2nd!! I REALLY wanted to finish under two hours and I did! I got a pretty great time for me :) 1:51:23 and finished 17 out of 141 for my age division (aka the really old peeps) and 70th for all female runners.

My great little sister and her fam brought my kids and cheered me on at the finish line - complete with signs and everything!

It was a great race and great weather. I'm kinda liking this running business :)

Alexis' 4th grade music program

Alexis had her 4th grade music program on Friday. She got to play a song on her recorder and sing two others. We loved going to listen!! I can't believe she is almost a 5th grader!

Goodbye Cryselle

Alexis got a hamster for her birthday while we were in Ohio. She named it Cryselle and loved her like she was her own :) We are sad to say that sweet Cryselle passed away this week. It is hard to watch your child lose a pet :( She will be missed!!!

Football

Ethan played flag football this year with his good pal Jordan. My super, awesome, can't say no, friend Becky "volunteered" to be the coach (she also happens to be Jordan's mom!!) I won't say that they had the best record - but they did have the best time!! We enjoyed going to the games and Thane got to help coach from time to time. It was really fun to watch him!!

Brylee's first haircut

Brylee finally got a haircut - two years later! :) I never did cut her stylin' baby mullet so it was time for a trim. She looks adorable - thanks Jen for cutting!!

Easter

We had a fun Easter weekend full of egg dying, egg hunts and lots of candy!! :)

Brylee really got into dying eggs this year..

I'm glad the older two munchkins still like to participate too!

The Kent's joined us for the fun!

Egg hunts at the church & home = good times!!

Alexis and her friend Zoe sprinting for candy..

Mmmmm candy

Easter morn.....

Happy, happy Easter!!
