Early (and by early I mean EARLY) yesterday morning I ran half marathon #3 for the year. After a bit of a car accident - (Kurt your truck is just too HUGE) and waking up the whole neighborhood with a car alarm - we were on the road by 3am.
Drive to Provo, bus ride up the canyon and we were ready to start by 6am. This was the 1st race I participated in where they had fires at the start line to keep the runners warm!
Finished the race at 1:51:15 which is 8 seconds better than my last and best time- guess I can't complain! If nothing, I am consistent. (even when I only get about 3 hours sleep the night before!)
It was fun to run with my bro-in-law Kurt as I am usually at these things solo since I haven't convinced any Boise peeps to join up with me yet!!!
Hopefully we can do it again next year!!
